Acceptable Use Policy

Keep it fun and fair.

MemeHatch is for playful videos of your own pets. This policy explains what isn’t allowed, how we check photos and what we do when something breaks the rules. It is part of our Terms of Service.

Last updated: November 3, 2026

Short version: upload a photo of a pet you have the right to use, with no people in it, and use the video in good faith.

What MemeHatch is for

You may upload photos of animals — your own pets, or pets whose owner has given you permission — to make a Skull Cap trend video for personal sharing. Every photo must show at least one real animal and no people.

What isn’t allowed

Don’t upload a photo, or use a video, that contains or promotes any of the following:

  1. Sexual or NSFW content, including nudity and sexually suggestive material.
  2. Violence or gore, including cruelty to animals, injury or graphic harm.
  3. Hate or harassment, including content that attacks people for who they are, or that bullies or threatens anyone.
  4. Anything that puts children at risk. Child sexual abuse material is absolutely prohibited; we report it to the authorities.
  5. Deepfakes or impersonation. No photos of real people, including faces, bodies, reflections, posters or other images of a person, and nothing meant to make anyone appear to say or do something they didn’t.
  6. Copyright or trademark infringement, such as photos you don’t have the rights to, copyrighted characters or someone else’s logo or brand.

Also not allowed: anything illegal, presenting a video as real footage to deceive people, automated or bulk use of the service, and reselling the service without our written permission.

How we check content

Every photo is checked automatically before you can pay. We use Google Gemini 2.5 Flash, run on fal.ai, to confirm the photo shows a real animal and no people. Photos that fail are deleted straight away and can’t be used. If the check isn’t available, we don’t accept the photo.

Every finished video is checked again before you can see it: the same model reviews frames from the start, middle and end of the video, which must show no people and nothing unsafe. A video that fails is deleted and made once more; if that one fails too, the order is refunded in full. If the check isn’t available, the video stays hidden until it can be checked.

We keep a record of every automated check (the result, never the photo or video itself) so we can review reports and appeals. Videos are made from a fixed template, so you can’t enter your own prompt. Automated checks can make mistakes, so a person reviews every report we receive.

What we do when the rules are broken

  • Refuse or cancel the order. Orders cancelled for breaking this policy may not be refunded, where the law allows.
  • Delete the photo and video.
  • Suspend or close the account.
  • Report illegal content to the relevant authorities.

Report a video

If you see a MemeHatch video that breaks this policy, email support@memehatch.app with the subject “Report”. Include a link, a screenshot or a description, and the order number if you have it. We reply within 2 business days, review the content and remove anything that breaks this policy.

Appeal a decision

If you think we rejected a photo or closed an account by mistake, email support@memehatch.app with the subject “Appeal”. A person reviews every appeal, and we reply within 5 business days.

AI-generated videos

Every MemeHatch video is generated by AI. When you share one, don’t claim it is real footage. See our Terms of Service for the rest of the rules.
